Senior Software Engineer

Are you experienced in C++ or C#/.NET and interested in working close to industrial or medical products and their data?
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer
with strong experience in C++ and/or C#/.NET and modern application development.
As a consultant, you'll work close to the software layer that connects industrial products, medical devices and data platforms for our clients’ systems, one project at a time.
Our projects typically focus on the software layer between complex systems and modern applications: desktop applications, integrations, backend services, data pipelines and interfaces that enable digital services, analytics and operational tools.
Our clients support hybrid work, so presence at their office around Tampere or Helsinki Metropolitan areas is required (1–3 days per week). In addition, you are always welcome to work from our office locations at Vantaankoski (and soon Tampere too ;).
Your responsibilities can include
developing desktop applications, backend services and middleware components for industrial and medical software systems,
designing and implementing APIs and integration services,
building data pipelines and services processing industrial telemetry, operational and machine data,
integrating industrial systems and medical devices with modern software platforms.
How to succeed in this position?
With 6+ years of experience in software development, working with technologies such as C++ and/or C#/.NET in complex systems or product development environments, you’ll have a solid foundation for success.
Experience in industrial or medical device software involving hardware-adjacent systems, is highly valuable. Excellent English communication skills are essential, and Finnish is a bonus.
You should also have
hands-on experience in developing desktop applications and/or backend services,
experience building APIs, integrations or middleware between different software systems,
experience working with Linux or Windows-based environments and modern development tools,
a solid understanding of software architecture, system integration and maintainable code design, and
a proactive and consultative way of working together with customers and teams.
It’s a great plus if you have experience with:
Desktop UI technologies such as WPF, WinUI or Qt,
Integrating software with industrial systems or protocols (for example OPC UA, MQTT, or similar),
Industrial data pipelines or telemetry data, using technologies such as Python data processing tools, SQL, streaming platforms or cloud data services,
Containerized environments such as Docker or Kubernetes, or
Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
