As a Senior Embedded SW Engineer

You will design, develop, and optimize low-level code for embedded systems in demanding client projects – one at a time, of course. We work closely with big device manufacturers within medical and manufacturing industries. In your work you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging technical problems.
The work often requires presence at client premises (1-3 days a week), so most likely you want to live close by Helsinki Metropolitan area.

How to succeed in this position?

Multiple years of experience in low-level embedded software development in industrial automation or medical device sectors, and excellent English communication skills will give you a great foundation to success in your work.

In addition, you need to have:

• Solid experience from OOP & C++ (python & C skills are a nice plus)
• Strong understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor architectures and real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Embedded Linux
• Experience with software testing and CI/CD development pipelines
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment

It's a great plus if you also have knowledge/experience of:

• Safety-critical software development standards and regulations.
• Cybersecurity principles for embedded systems
• Distribution systems like Yocto
• Scrum & agile ways of working
